Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has given an assessment of Marcus Rashford’s performance for Barcelona in their 2-1 win over CA Osasuna on Saturday night, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Blaugrana moved a step closer to sealing a second straight La Liga title with a hard-fought victory at the Estadio El Sadar. The win extended their lead at the top to 14 points ahead of Real Madrid, who face Espanyol on Sunday, with just four games left in the season.
The visitors, without teenage sensation Lamine Yamal who has been ruled out for the rest of the season, dominated the clash as expected. However, the game only came alive in the final 10 minutes, when three goals were scored by both sides.

First, Marcus Rashford delivered a delightful cross into the box, which was met by a powerful header from Robert Lewandowski. Shortly after, Fermín López played a through ball to set up Ferran Torres for the second goal.
Osasuna pulled one back in the 89th minute when Raúl García headed home to set up a tense finish, but Barcelona held on to secure maximum points and take a major step towards sealing a second league title in as many seasons.

Asisat Oshoala lauds Marcus Rashford after assist vs Osasuna
England forward Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United last season and has enjoyed an impressive campaign so far, registering 13 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.

With the game heading towards a stalemate on Saturday, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick turned to the 28-year-old to make a difference and he needed only a few minutes to deliver. After coming on just after the hour mark, Rashford produced a superb cross for Robert Lewandowski to head home.
Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala, who previously enjoyed a successful spell at Barcelona, took to X (formerly Twitter) during the match to express her admiration for Rashford’s assist.
Barcelona could wrap up the league title this weekend if Real Madrid fail to beat Espanyol in their clash on Sunday. However, if Madrid win, the Catalan giants can still secure the title if they avoid defeat in next weekend’s El Clásico.
