Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has taken his side a step further in their hunt for European football by scoring a goal against Tottenham Hotspur, Soccernet.ng reports.
Marco Silva's men have been on a winning run since their 0-3 loss to Manchester City two weeks ago, and today's win confirmed the Cottagers had nine points from their last three games.
Spurs didn't have a good start to life under Igor Tudor, losing 1-4 to Arsenal in the North London derby last week.

Iwobi's goal propels Fulham up the Premier League table
Harry Wilson broke the deadlock in the seventh minute, volleying the ball into the back of the net after Ryan Sessegnon's cross was deflected, bringing his season's tally to nine goals, his best-ever in the English top-flight.

The Welshman turned provider for Alex Iwobi's goal four minutes after the 30-minute mark. A quick exchange of passes freed the Nigerian on the edge of Tottenham's box, but he still had a lot of work to do before making anything of the pass.
Iwobi opted to side-foot the ball beyond Gugliemo Vicario to score his fourth league goal this season, a goal in consecutive games.

Fulham took their pedal off the gas in the second half, and Andrade Richarlison took advantage of that, pulling one back for Tottenham in the 66th minute.
