Some Super Eagles strikers were in action for their European clubs on Sunday afternoon, as teams continue to jostle for good placement across the various leagues.
Big hitman Paul Onuachu led the line for his Trabzonspor side when they traveled to Gaziantep. After losing to Fenerbahce last week, the Black Sea Storm needed to return to winning ways, and they did just that.
Although they had a tough start, conceding in the 22nd minute courtesy of Mohamed Bayo, Trabzonspor rallied back to claim the win.
Two goals from Felipe Augusto and Onuachu sealed the deal. After Felipe Augusto scored in the 24th minute, Onuachu added his three minutes later.

The Super Eagles star pounced on the rebound of Mustafa Eskihellaç's blocked shot and fired a low shot past Zafer Gorgen in Gaziantep's goal.
The home side had a plethora of chances to score, but Trabzonspor goalie Andre Onana was in his elements on the night, as he made six big saves to keep his side in the game.
Aside from his goal, Onuachu had a pretty silent afternoon, as he registered only two goal attempts. Nonetheless, his team ran out with all three points, as the game eventually ended 2-1.
Akor Adams Nicks Assist In Tough Sevilla Win

Akor Adams led the line for Sevilla when they traveled to the Coliseum to take on Getafe.
Before the game, Los Nervionenses had been in bad form, picking up just one win since the turn of the year. However, they were handed a boost after Djene was sent off for a terrible tackle in the 26th minute.
But Sevilla could only profit from their one-man advantage in the 64th minute. Adnan Januzaj played a long pass to find Adams in the box.
Then, under pressure from a Getafe defender, he flicked it behind immediately to Djibril Sow, who was on the edge of the box. He simply struck the ball once, sending it past the stretching David Soria.
Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke had his own moment in the 78th minute, when he dribbled his way to within a few inches of the byline.
But his low shot could only locate the side-netting. In the end, it was Adams' ingenuity and Sow's goal that made the difference, as it ended 1-0 to Sevilla.
Tolu Arokodare The Villain For Wolves

Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare was the point man for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their trip to Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Unfortunately, he had a poor outing. The big striker had two good chances to score in the opening 30 minutes, but he fluffed his lines.
Then, he got an opportunity to redeem himself in the 43rd minute through a penalty. However, Dean Henderson read the ball well and made a great save to deny the Super Eagles star.

He was later made to rue that miss, as Evann Guessand scored for the Eagles in the 90th minute to give them a 1-0 victory.
It was a poor performance from the Nigerian striker, but he will hope to bounce back from the disappointment quickly.
