Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Joe-Ayodele Aribo will not be in action for the Foxes this evening when they take on Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 29-year-old moved to the King Power Stadium after a dreadful start to the 2025/2026 campaign that saw him struggle for minutes at St. Mary's under manager Will Still.
The former Rangers midfielder played 32 games for Southampton in the English Premier League last season, but fell out of favour and only played six Championship games for the Saints this season, with all of his appearances coming off the substitute's bench.

The Super Eagles midfielder played 77 minutes on his club debut in their loss to Birmingham City last week, but will be out of action against his former side this evening.
“He’s had this week where he couldn’t play in the two Southampton games by the time the cup game’s over.
“Hopefully, he’ll have had a week where he’s had minutes against Birmingham, and now he’ll be up to speed as well,” Leicester City coach Andy King said about the Nigerian International.
