Super Eagles and Werder Bremen full-back Felix Agu has revealed why Bayern Munich were able to comfortably cruise past his team when both sides met yesterday evening, Soccernet.ng reports.
Agu only just returned from a three-month injury lay-off after a syndesmosis ligament damage that required the 26-year-old to go under the knife.
The Germany-born Nigerian left-back made his comeback in his side's loss to SC Freiburg a week ago, playing 28 minutes before adding another 65 minutes under his belt in the 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich yesterday.

Felix Agu explains why Werder Bremen lost to Bayern
Bremen's loss now puts them firmly in the relegation places, compounding their woes this season. Speaking after the game, Agu revealed the difference between the two teams was simply consistency.
“We had a good match plan that worked out in some situations. In the final third, however, Bayern were more consistent,” the Super Eagles full-back said in quotes revealed by Werder Bremen's official website.
“Overall, we can take a lot of positives with us – I think we played on an equal footing, but the last actions were with Bayern.
“For me personally, it was very nice to be able to play in front of the fans again here in the stadium.”

Werder's head coach, Daniel Thioune, also opined that his team had what it takes to go full throttle against Bayern, but they were poor in front of goal.
“I saw a team that fought back and had an attitude. A team that was also looking for opportunities. What was missing was that we finalised it.
“In the end, what many expected has come. I found the team showed resilience. I have felt this in the past few days. They're ready and willing.
“The spark was missing today to light the stadium. We should have shot the ball in for that in the early second half.
“We all know how important the game is next week. But let’s not look at that until tomorrow,” the 51-year-old concluded.
