FC Augsburg head coach Manuel Baum has issued an update on the progress of Nigerian attacker Uchenna Ogundu, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 19-year-old joined Die Fuggerstädter from Turkish Super Lig side Alanyaspor during the winter transfer window.
However, he's yet to make an appearance for Frank Onyeka's former side, who are just six points above the Bundesliga relegation spot.

FC Augsburg coach speaks on Ogundu's progress
The Diamond Academy Graduate joined Augsburg on two days into February, and the club have played two games since then, but the 19-year-old didn't feature, or even make the bench, against Mainz 05 and FC Heidenheim.

“He’s already had a few German lessons, greets me with ‘Servus’ and is very well integrated,” the 46-year-old said in quotes revealed by FC Augsburg's official website.
“You can see his strength and his pace in training. But we have to wait for the right moments to use young players like him,” the former Schalke 04 coach concluded.
