Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been spotted in Nigeria following the team's victory over Egypt in the AFCON 2025 third-place clash, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old played in six of Nigeria's seven AFCON games in Morocco, but sat out the third-place fixture against Egypt in Casablanca.
In Osimhen's absence, the game wore on without a goal, and eventually, both sides had to be separated by a penalty shoot-out.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scuffled Nigeria's first chance from twelve yards before Stanley Nwabali came up trumps, denying Omar Marmoush and Mo Salah.

Following the victory against the Pharaohs at the Stade Mohammed V, the Galatasaray striker, alongside Paul Onuachu, Wilfred Ndidi, and Chidozie Awaziem were seen walking past the mixed zone after taking off the Super Eagles gear.

It was then confirmed that the four players departed together on a private jet. While many expected the players to return to club action with immediate effect, the opposite ensued.
Apparently, the players jetted out to Lagos for Tunde Perry's birthday party. Ndidi, Osimhen, and Awaziem were spotted having a good time at the event. Watch the video here.

Perry (Akinpelu Babatunde Adigun) is a famous social media personality who's known largely for his lifestyle content, and for three Super Eagles players to jet out from Morocco for his birthday party, it shows he has a good rapport with the players.
Meanwhile, the decision to jet out has been met with a mixed reaction from social media, as many believe jetting out to party after a tournament in the middle of a club season is not a moral thing to do.
