Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce are set to meet with Atalanta over a possible transfer for Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman this month, Soccernet.ng reports.
Lookman has continued to be linked with a move away from Atalanta, as it is clear that he is unsettled at the club.
The 28-year-old Super Eagles attacker was billed to leave Bergamo in the summer after three impressive campaigns.

But Atalanta frustrated his transfer and stopped him from leaving, despite interest from clubs like Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Tottenham, and many others.
This has affected his performances, as the former Everton man has had a slow start to the campaign, with three goals and two assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
Nonetheless, the reports of a possible exit have not stopped. Also, his contract expires at the end of next season. So La Dea know that they have to sell him soon to avoid losing him for free next year.

In recent months, the Turkish Super Lig has appeared to be the more likely destination for him, as Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have been heavily linked with him.
But according to the latest update by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, Fenerbahce are desperate to enter the driving seat for a deal.
This comes as the club has contacted Atalanta and set a meeting for this week. They are also looking to negotiate personal terms with Lookman.

How Much Will Atalanta Demand For Ademola Lookman?
Last summer, the major reason Ademola Lookman could not leave Atalanta was because of their high financial demands.

But now, per Transfermarkt, the Super Eagles star is valued at around €35 million. And in an earlier report by Soccernet.ng, it was revealed that the Italian club had reduced their valuation of the striker.

As it stands, it is unlikely that Atalanta will accept a loan offer. So, anyone who wants their star man would have to pay the full fee.
€35 million seems like a decent bargain for the Super Eagles star, considering how he has performed this season.
In previous years, €35 million would be a lot of money for Fenerbahce. But with the way that Turkish clubs have been splashing the cash in the past year, Lookman's €35 million price tag should not be a problem for Fenerbahce.
