Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce are plotting a move for Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare in January, Soccernet.ng reports.
Arokodare has had a difficult start to life at Wolves. The team has been struggling badly this season, with just two points from their first 11 Premier League games.
Arokodare has managed just 223 minutes so far, as most of his seven appearances have been off the bench, as he has had to play second fiddle to Jorgen Strand Larsen.
This is a sharp contrast to how he fared in Belgium, as he a regular starter and was always banging in goals aplenty.
As such, there is a good chance that Arokodare is unhappy at Wolves. Moreso, the club looks set to get relegated from the English top-flight this season, bar a miracle.
Now, according to Futbol Arena, per Sabah Spor, Arokodare might get a lifeline soon. This is as Super Lig club Fenerbahce are looking to make an offer for him in the January winter transfer window.
Why Fenerbahce Want Tolu Arokodare
Two of the best strikers in Turkey currently are Nigerian － Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu. So it is natural for Turkish club to pay more attention to Nigerian players.

But away from that, Talisca, Fenerbahce's first-choice striker, will leave by the end of the season, so they need a replacement.
As such, they have identified Arokodare as their guy. The big Super Eagles star will offer them something different, as he is more physical and has a significant presence in opponents' areas.
The transfer might be a bit expensive for the former Super Lig champions, so they are planning to make a loan offer with a purchase option. But it remains to be seen if Wolves will be willing to let Arokodare leave or if they will be accept the type of deal that Fenerbahce will offer.
