Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been linked with a surprise transfer to French Ligue 1 club PSG, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen has been one of the hottest marksmen in the world for the past five years. He has consistently delivered goals in Belgium, France, Italy, and now Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old striker just joined the Turkish giants in the summer for a league-record €75 million, and he has already proven his quality.
This season, Osimhen currently the goalscoring chart in the UEFA Champions League with six goals in three appearances. His most recent haul was this week, when he scored a record-breaking hattrick at Ajax.
Osimhen's performances have raised the eyebrows of many clubs, and if he continues like this, a bigger club might try to prize him away from Galatasaray soon.
In the meantime, fresh reports from Fichajes indicate that PSG might even make a move for the former Lille man. According to them, coach Luis Enrique has asked the club to sign a top striker that is in the mode of Osimhen.
PSG's top 9 Goncalo Ramos has not been entirely convincing since his €65 million move from Benfica two years ago, and Enrique believes a striker like Osimhen would help them maintain their place at the summit of European football.
Galatasaray Make €150 million Stance For Victor Osimhen Amid PSG Interest
According to Fichajes, Galatasaray will only listen to offers of around €150 million for Victor Osimhen.
This does not come as a surprise though, as they just paid €75 million for him and put him on a monster payment package. As such, they will want to recoup most of their investments, and more.
Moreover, Alxander Isak, who is almost on Osimhen's level, went for over €140 million in the last summer transfer window. So, Galatasaray would feel like they are in their own right to demand for €150 million.
PSG are known to be heavy spenders. They still hold the record of €222 million for Neymar. This is not the first time that PSG will be linked with Osimhen. If Les Parisien really want him, they definitely will break the bank and splash the cash.
