Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has beaten former Manchester United man Andre Onana, ex-Real Madrid star Marco Asensio, and seven others to win the Player of the Month Awards October in the Turkish Super Lig, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onuachu has excelled since joining Trabzonspor from English club Southampton during the last summer transfer window.
The Super Eagles star has contributed seven goals and one assist in 11 appearances for the Black Sea Storm. He has also shown that he has a lot of offer in his locker, as he has won the Goal of the Month Award twice already this season.
Now, he has added a new achievement, as he has been named the Player of the Month.
Onuachu was nominated alongside his Super Eagles colleague Victor Osimhen, Rafa Silva, Andre Onana, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Orkun Kokcu, Ederson Moraes, Wilfred Singo, and Davinson Sanchez. The winner of the award was decided by votes from fans.

Following Paul Onuachu's undeniable brilliance for Trabzonspor, it will be surprising if he does not get invited to the Super Eagles camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs later this month.
The 30-year-old marksman has been out of the squad for a very long time due to his previous struggles at club level. But now, he will be looking to make an impact.
