Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are reportedly using Victor Osimhen to help lure fellow Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman to the club, Soccernet.ng reports.
Since Lookman’s failed transfer to Inter Milan during the summer window, the former Everton man has been linked with many top clubs, including Tottenham and Bayern Munich.
Galatasaray has also been mentioned as a potential destination as the club looks to continue their spending spree and add more quality players to their roster.
However, nothing concrete has emerged yet, as Atalanta have consistently maintained that only a fee in the region of €50 million would prompt them to release their most-prized asset.
Following the transfer drama he initiated in the summer, Lookman has gone quiet since the start of the season, albeit his performances on the pitch have not been at his best, with the Super Eagles winger seemingly still struggling to return to top form.
Among all the clubs monitoring him, Galatasaray appears to be the most serious, as they have been making active enquiries ahead of the January transfer window.

Now, according to the Italian football outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, Galatasaray are using Osimhen to speak with Lookman about joining the Turkish club.
The reason is simple: both players are Super Eagles teammates, and Osimhen commands respect among his international colleagues.

While Galatasaray do not play in one of Europe’s top five leagues, they are willing to match, or perhaps even exceed, the best financial offers from those top leagues.
Can Galatasaray Secure the Ademola Lookman Deal?
The Ademola Lookman deal is a very delicate one. Atalanta might even now be regretting their refusal to sell him in the summer, as his value has dropped due to his poor start to the campaign.
As such, they might be willing to reduce their asking price just to cut their losses.
However, the main challenge for Galatasaray might be convincing Lookman to move to Turkey, which is not a top European League.
Nonetheless, they will be hoping that Victor Osimhen can help them persuade Lookman to wear their colors soon.
