Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Panthers of Gabon in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup play-off clash that could define their qualification dreams, Soccernet.ng reports.

After a turbulent qualifying campaign, Nigeria must now deliver in this encounter to keep their hopes of reaching the World Cup alive.

The one-legged play-off is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco, with both sides fighting for a spot in the final round of Africa’s qualification series.

Where to watch Nigeria vs Gabon

The crucial World Cup play-off between Nigeria and Gabon will take place at the Moulay Hassan Stadium, officially known as the Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan, located in the El Youssoufia area of Rabat, Morocco.

The stadium, which has been FUS Rabat's home ground since 2012, has a seating capacity of 22,000.

The stadium is accessible by car, taxi, or local bus routes from various parts of Rabat, with the city centre just a short drive away.

Fans attending the match are encouraged to arrive early due to tight security checks and the expected large turnout, as supporters of both nations are set to create a thrilling atmosphere.

How to stream the Nigeria vs Gabon clash

The game is expected to be available on SuperSport Football, while online viewers can stream the match live via SportyTV and DStv Stream.

If you prefer minute-by-minute commentary, updates, and expert analysis, you can follow Soccernet.ng’s live coverage, which will provide real-time updates, match stats, and post-match reactions from Rabat.

It’s the perfect option for fans on the go or those unable to stream the match.

What happens if Nigeria win or loses?

If Nigeria emerges victorious against Gabon, they will advance to the final stage of the CAF play-offs, where they’ll face the winner between Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The winner of that showdown will then book a spot in the intercontinental play-offs, which would bring the Super Eagles closer to qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

However, a loss would be devastating—it would mark the end of Nigeria’s World Cup journey. For a football-loving nation like Nigeria, missing another World Cup would be a major setback.
