Eric Chelle has made some big changes to the lineup he employed against Gabon in the last game on Thursday. Against Gabon, he used a 4-2-2-2 setup, but he has now switched to a 4-3-3 lineup against DR Congo.
Stanley Nwabali maintains his place in between the sticks for Nigeria. The defence line in front of him is comprised of Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey, who pair up at center-back.

Besiktas midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is the shield in the middle of the park, and he will be supported by Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka.
Chelle's decision to switch to a 4-3-3 formation is understandable, as DR Congo have younger and better midfielders than Gabon. So, Nigeria will need more bodies in the middle of the park.
