Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has fuelled fresh exit rumours after unfollowing Atalanta on Instagram and archiving all photos of himself wearing the club’s jersey, Soccernet.ng reports.
The latest social media activity comes just days after Lookman’s tense touchline exchange with Atalanta manager Ivan Jurić during their 1-0 victory over Olympique Marseille.

Fans noticed the change on Lookman’s verified Instagram account on Saturday, where the Nigerian forward no longer follows Atalanta’s official page and has removed all posts featuring him in the club’s colours.
The move immediately sparked speculation across social media platforms, with many suggesting his growing frustration and desire to leave the Gewiss Stadium.
Ademola Lookman has also archived all Atalanta-related posts on his Instagram.

Growing tension between Lookman and Atalanta
Reports suggest Lookman’s relationship with the Atalanta hierarchy has been deteriorating since the 2025 summer transfer window, when the club reportedly blocked several moves away from Bergamo despite interest from top European sides.
The Nigerian forward, who has been one of Atalanta’s most productive players in recent seasons, expressed frustration after the club refused to sanction his departure.
