Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has started training again, following a hamstring injury which he sustained while on international for Nigeria last month, Soccernet.ng reports.
Last month, Aina was forced off the pitch in Nigeria's 1-1 draw against South Africa at the Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein.
He was later confirmed to have sustained a hamstring injury, which would keep him out of action for three months.
The 29-year-old underwent injury last month and has been recovering, but neither him nor Nottingham Forest shared updates on his fitness.
However, the Premier League club have now revealed the extent of the progress that Aina has made. They did this in a 12-minute video, showing how Aina celebrated his 29th birthday at the club's training facility at Wilford Lane on October 8th.

In the video, Ola Aina can be seen walking well on his own. He was also examined by the physios before doing some exercises in the gym.
When Will Aina Return To Action?
From the video, it is clear that Aina is healing quite well and fast. He also jokingly said he was ready to kick a ball.
The next step in his recovery process is to start training on the pitch, and that will likely happen in the next 2-4 weeks.
He will first do some light work alone on grass for some days before rejoining his teammates.
As such, he is on track to return to action by the start of December. This means that he could be available for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco at the end of the year.
