The Super Eagles of Nigeria revived their 2026 World Cup qualification hopes when they defeated Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo…

Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has called on Nigerian football fans to give the same level of support to the women’s national team as they do for the Super Eagles, Soccernet.ng reports.

There has been a conversation about the Nigerian women's football team not getting as much support as the Nigerian men's team.

The nine-time African champions remain Nigeria’s most successful national team but often play in front of smaller crowds compared to the men’s side.

What did Alozie say after Nigeria’s win over Rwanda?

The Houston Dash star, who took to her X (formerly Twitter) page shortly after Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Rwanda in Uyo, urged fans not to neglect the Falcons.

“All the fans showing up for the Super Eagles game, don’t forget to show up for the Super Falcons too,” Alozie wrote.
