Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman was linked with several clubs this summer as he tried to force a move, but he could remain in Bergamo for another year, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old has made it clear he wants to exit Bergamo, with Inter Milan being his sole interest. The Nerazzuri have submitted three offers, all of which Atalanta declined.
In turn, Lookman decided to stop training with La Dea, taking it a step further by making himself absent from the team's preseason fixtures.
Lookman has been left out to train alone, and the former RB Leipzig man could be set to stay with Atalanta for another year. Soccernet.ng previously reported that Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the transfer situation of the CAF Player of the Year.

Record Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich pitched an offer to Ivan Juric's side last night for the 2024 CAF Player of the Year as Atalanta maintained they wouldn't sell Lookman to another Italian club.

La Dea stood their ground in ensuring they don't let the former Everton man off their books on a temporary option, and certainly not for anything below €50m.
