Bright Osayi-Samuel spent four years at Fenerbahce before joining Birmingham City…
Super Eagles and Birmingham City defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has backed Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce to win the Turkish Super Lig in the 2025/2026 campaign, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old joined the Blues on a free deal after spending four years in Turkey. Before joining the EFL Championship side, he was linked with a move to Besiktas, but the move fell through after rumours surfaced that his father was asking for more money.
Osayi is convinced Chris Davies' side can make the big leap to the English Premier League at the end of the coming season, and is set to fight Ethan Laird to get his starting spot.

Osayi‘s experience with Jose Mourinho
In a report by Birmingham Live, the former QPR man spoke about what it feels like to be under Portuguese gaffer, Jose Mourinho.
“For me, he was a great coach. It felt like he was the mandem. Before the game, he would give us so many stories about his family and stuff.
“It’s not just football, he wants to know how you’re doing away from football. He was a good coach for me, and I enjoyed being there with him.”

“It’s difficult in Turkey with the pressure of not winning, and I feel like we were unlucky last year. With his [Mournho] experience, in his second year in Turkey, I feel he will now win the league there,” the Super Eagles star concluded.
