Victor Osimhen just completed his transfer to Galatasaray in the biggest transfer move in Turkish football history

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has congratulated compatriot Victor Osimhen following his permanent transfer to Turkish Super Lig club, Soccernet.ng reports.

Recall that Osimhen spent last season at Galatasaray in a season-long loan transfer from Napoli. He was excellent for them, registering 45 goal contributions in 41 games to help them claim the domestic double.

After his impressive campaign, the Super Lig giants expressed their willingness to sign him. Meanwhile, there were also talks linking him to some top clubs in the top five leagues.

Nonetheless, after the weeks of speculations and difficult negotiations with Napoli, Osimhen completed his transfer to Galatasaray some days ago, in a transfer that makes him the most expensive signing and highest-paid player in the history of the Super Lig.

Osimhen's transfer has gotten a lot of attention. And some of his Galatasaray teammates have expressed their elation at the prospect of playing with him next season.

Now, Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, who was part of the team that finished second at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has congratulated Osimhen on his move.

The Chippa United goalie posted a picture of Osimhen in a Galatasaray shirt and captioned it, “Congrats brother, goals go rain cover the whole Turkey. I believe you.”
