Turkish Super Lig giants, Galatasaray, are making bold moves to secure Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal, Soccernet.ng reports.

A recent report from Italy reveals that the reigning Super Lig champions are putting together a financial package to meet the Nigerian striker’s €75 million release clause at Napoli.

Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move away from Naples for over two years. However, following his return from a successful loan spell in Turkey, a permanent exit from Napoli this summer appears inevitable, as a reunion with the club's hierarchy seems increasingly unlikely.

Despite long-standing rumours of a dream move to the English Premier League, that prospect now looks uncertain.

No club has made a concrete approach for the Nigerian striker, leaving Galatasaray in a stronger position to secure his signature.

How Galatasaray Will Secure Osimhen From Napoli?

While Galatasaray may not boast the financial firepower of Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United, they are relying on a united front of commercial sponsors and corporate backers to pull off what could become the biggest deal in Turkish football history.

According to Football Italia, several companies in Turkey have signalled their readiness to contribute funds to help the club trigger the buyout clause.

This sponsorship-driven strategy, rarely seen at this level, shows how committed Galatasaray are to retaining Osimhen—whose performances during his loan spell have made him a fan favourite.

Has Osimhen Agreed to a Galatasaray Move?

Per reports from Fotomac, Osimhen has already agreed in principle to a staggering €16 million-per-year salary, and the forward is reportedly keen to return to Istanbul.

If reports are true, this will come as a major blow to Liverpool and Manchester United, both of whom have been circling the Super Eagles star in hopes of luring him to the Premier League.

If Galatasaray move swiftly and present a formal bid to Napoli, Osimhen could soon shut the door on a Premier League switch and cement his future in the Turkish Super Lig.
