Super Falcons goalkeeper Nnadozie pens emotional farewell message to Paris FC

Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Cynthia Nnadozie, has penned an emotional farewell message after her exit from Paris FC was confirmed, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 24-year-old joined the French side in 2020 from Nigerian side, Rivers Angels, but now has her gaze fixed on another destination after her contract with Paris FC expired.

In over 100 domestic league appearances, the Super Falcons goalkeeper kept 44 clean sheets for Sandrine Soubeyrand's side.

In a post by the club's official X account, Paris FC thanked the former Rivers Angels goalkeeper for her services over the years.

“Arriving at Paris FC in 2020 from River Angels FC, Chiamaka immediately became a key part of the team. Best goalkeeper in Arkema Première Ligue in 2023-2024.

“She left Paris FC after a magnificent victory in the Coupe de France in which she was one of the main players. Paris FC warmly thanks you for these five years, which will forever leave a mark on the club's history. We wish her the best for the next stage of his career,” the translated post said.

In response, Nnadozie penned a farewell message, thanking the Parisians for the memories they made, and wished them the best for the future.

“Been an honour to have been a part of this amazing team for the past five and a half years. I will miss each and every one of you. Thank you for all the support and great memories. It's hard to say goodbye to such a fantastic team. Keep achieving greatness. Thank you.”

Nnadozie's next club is currently unknown, but speculations about a move to England are growing. Should she complete the move, she'll join Everton's Toni Payne as the second Super Falcon in the WSL.
