Super Eagles longest-serving center-back Kenneth Omeruo has congratulated the Super Falcons for their 3-1 win over Ghana in their 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations preparatory fixture on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Nigeria, once again exerted their dominance in the Jollof derby when both teams met in Morocco.

It was a game that coach Justin Madugu was supposed to use to ascertain the preparedness of his women for the WAFCON, and they proved to be rock solid.

Goals from former Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala, Chinwendu Ihezuo, and captain Rasheedat Ajibade ensured that Alice Kusi's goal was merely a consolation goal.
