Super Eagles winger Moses Simon could be set for a summer move away from FC Nantes, Soccernet.ng understands.

Multiple reports have suggested that the Nigerian international is close to agreeing to a deal to join newly promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC, formerly home to Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, with OGN reporting that the club is keen on making him a marquee signing.

Simon, who initially joined Nantes on loan from Levante before making the move permanent in 2020, remains under contract with the Canaries until June 2026.

While Nantes have offered the 28-year-old a contract extension, strong interest from other clubs may yet influence his decision.

According to Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, Paris FC are among the sides eyeing the winger, although no formal agreement has been reached. Two other Ligue 1 clubs are also said to be monitoring the situation closely.

Beyond France, Laba further revealed that clubs from elsewhere in Europe and the United States have also made enquiries about the Super Eagles star, whose consistent performances have not gone unnoticed.

Despite the growing speculation, Simon is currently enjoying his holiday and is in no rush to make a decision. A final call on his future is expected later in the summer.

The versatile forward was a key figure for Nantes last season, helping the club avoid relegation. He contributed eight goals and 10 assists in 32 league appearances—crucial numbers in the club’s survival campaign.

For now, all links remain in the realm of transfer rumours, as no official statement has been made by Simon’s camp or any of the clubs involved. Still, a move would see him remain in Ligue 1 while embracing a new chapter in his career.
