Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey were two of their best legs last season. Iwobi had a career-best league campaign in terms of goal contributions, as he put up nine goals and six assists in 38 games.

Bassey was consistent at the back, featuring in 35 Premier League games, with one goal to his name. He was so good that he even won the Player of the Year Award at Fulham.

Bassey's performances even saw him tipped as the solution to Barcelona's defensive problems.

This summer, a lot of big clubs need reinforcements. And although Bassey has not been linked to any club yet, some of them might start looking at them if he continues to perform well.

Fulham can afford to take their current stance on Calvin Bassey, as the Super Eagles defender still has two years left with a one-year extension on his contract.

Moreover, Bassey's last forray at a big club － Ajax － did not end well. So this time, he will be careful about his next move.

Nonetheless, if Fulham get a big offer, they might budge. Bassey is valued at €25 million on Transfermarkt.
