The Flying Eagles of Nigeria are set to battle defending champions Senegal in a quarter-final clash at the ongoing U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Soccernet.ng reports

After a resilient group-stage performance, Nigeria secured their place in the knockout rounds as Group B runners-up, following a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Kenya.

The seven-time champions will now lock horns with Senegal, who progressed from Group C on goal difference after edging DR Congo to finish second behind Ghana.

Nigeria vs Senegal: When Is The Match Date and Time

Nigeria will face Senegal on Monday, May 12, in the first quarter-final fixture of the tournament.
Kick-off time: 13:00 WAT

Where Will Flying Eagles Tackle Senegal

The match will take place at one of the tournament’s designated venues in North Africa, as part of the knockout stage of the U-20 AFCON. Nigeria will lock horns with Senegal at the Suez Canal Stadium in the city of Ismaila.
