Super Eagles and Rangers forward, Cyriel Kolawole Dessers, has won the William Hill Premiership Golden Boot Award after a brilliant individual campaign, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 30-year-old was put up for sale by the Record Scottish Champions after a dreadful start to the 2024/2025 season. His inconsistency in front of goal didn't help either, and that has summed up his stay at Ibrox since he arrived in the summer of 2023.
Somehow, Dessers turned it all around. A brilliant goal against Aberdeen at the start of the year and a well-struck strike against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League caused the Gers to believe in the Belgium-born Nigerian again, and he ended the season with 29 goals and seven assists in all club competitions.

Additionally, Dessers‘ numbers put him in third place on Rangers’ all-time list of scorers who had the most goals in their first 100 appearances in the 21st century, just behind Shota Arveladze (48), Alfredo Morales (57), and club legend, Kris Boyd (68).
