Live Commentary: Nigeria vs Senegal- It is do or die for the Flying Eagles in the U20 AFCON quarterfinals

Welcome to Soccernet.ng’s live coverage of Nigeria's clash against defending champions Senegal in the 2025 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 22,000-capacity Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia is the venue as the Flying Eagles of Nigeria look to grab the coveted semifinal ticket.

Aliyu Zubairu's lads were not convincing enough in the group stage, as they claimed a 1-0 win over Tunisia in their first game and settled for draws against Morocco and Kenya. Those results landed them a second-place finish in Group B.

Senegal were not better either, as their 2-0 win over DR Congo in their final group game was what saved them from exiting the tournament.

Based on what both teams have shown at the tournament so far, you can be sure that it will be a tight encounter, one that could be decided by the finest of margins.

Sit tight as we take you through the next 90 minutes of football.
