Live Commentary: Follow Flying Eagles final U20 AFCON group clash vs Kenya

Welcome to Soccernet.ng’s live coverage of Nigeria's second U20 Africa Cup of Nations Group B game against Kenya.

The 30 June Stadium in Cairo is the venue as the Flying Eagles of Nigeria look to top their group as the quarter-final beckons.

Aliyu Zubairu's team are yet to concede in this tournament, sealing a 1-0 win against Tunisia before a follow-up goalless draw against Morocco. This evening, they take on a Kenyan side that has nothing but pride to play for.

Flying Eagles Starting XI vs Kenya:

  • Goalkeeper: Ebenezer Ifeanyi Harcourt

  • Defenders: Adamu Bajibir Maigari, Daniel Kolocho Bameyi (C), Emmanuel Chukwu, Odinaka Emmanuel Okoro

  • Midfielders: Israel Ayuma, Auwal Ibrahim, Simon Cletus

  • Forwards: Clinton Degol Jephta, Kparobo Arierhi, Ezekiel Kpangu

Can Nigeria’s young talents impress in the presence of the Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, or will the Rising Stars of Kenya go home with all bragging rights, ending their journey in Egypt on a Zenith.

The Flying Eagles have scored the least goals in Group B, finding the back of the net just once against Tunisia while Kenya have scored in all their games, but are yet to keep a clean sheet. Aliyu Zubair's side have kept two clean sheets
