Nigeria and Sampdoria midfielder, Ebenezer Ajodun Akinsanmiro, could be set for an impromptu return to his parent club, Inter Milan, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 20-year-old made his debut for the Nerazzuri last season in the campaign that saw them lift their 20th league title. However, in search of playing time, the former Remo Stars midfielder joined Serie B side, Sampdoria on a season-long loan.
Akinsanmiro started 14 of Sampdoria's 38 league games, although he featured in 35 of those. His club side are now in further dilemma as they're on the brink of relegation to the third-tier of Italian Football.

As per FCInterNews, Akinsanmiro’s loan deal with Sampdoria ends next month, but Inzaghi's side want him earlier than that because of their participation in the Club World Cup as they want to try out a number of younger players.
On the flip side, Sampdoria want Akinsanmiro to remain until the end of his agreed loan spell as he'll be able to contribute in their two-legged relegation playoff against Salernitana next month.
