Live Commentary: Follow Flying Eagles final U20 AFCON semi-final clash vs South Africa

Welcome to Soccernet.ng’s live coverage of Nigeria's U20 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final game against the Amajita of South Africa.

The Suez Canal Stadium in Ismaila, Egypt, is the venue as the Flying Eagles of Nigeria look to claim a spot in the AFCON U-20 final.

Aliyu Zubairu's team have conceded just two goals this tournament. The team's youngest player, Ebenezer Harcourt, who's also the goalkeeper, was Nigeria's hero in the quarter-final against Senegal as he saved two penalty kicks in the shootout.

This evening, they take on a South African side that has gone unbeaten in four matches since losing their opening game. They recorded back-to-back group stage wins against Tanzania (1-0) and Sierra Leone (4-1), drew 1-1 with Zambia, and then edged DR Congo 1-0 in the quarter-finals.

Can Nigeria’s young talents impress and claim a spot in the final in their bid to win their 8th AFCON U-20 title, or will South Africa claim their 4th title?

The Flying Eagles have scored the fewest goals in the tournament up to this point, finding the back of the net just three times.
