The Flying Eagles of Nigeria face a crucial test against Kenya in their final Group B game at the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Soccernet.ng reports.

Victory will seal a spot for Aliyu Zubairu's troops in the quarter-finals and also mark their 100th appearance in the history of the tournament.

With everything on the line, Soccernet.ng explores five standout players who could be pivotal to Nigeria’s win against the Rising Stars.

1. Ebenezer Harcourt

Goalkeeper Harcourt has been a steady figure for the Flying Eagles throughout the group stage. He kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Tunisia and did not concede a goal in Nigeria's 0-0 draw with Morocco.

His shot-stopping ability will be vital in ensuring Nigeria avoid any defensive slip-ups against Kenya.

2. Auwal Ibrahim

Ibrahim remains Nigeria’s only goalscorer in the competition so far, having coolly finished in the 38th minute against Tunisia after receiving a clever pass from Odinaka Okoro. His midfield discipline makes him a player Kenya will have to keep close tabs on.

3. Daniel Bameyi

Bameyi has been outstanding at the heart of Nigeria’s defence. His defensive solidity were on full display in the match against Morocco, where his performance earned him the Man of the Match award. Bameyi will be key to shutting out Kenya’s attackers.

4. Precious Benjamin

Introduced as a substitute for Kparobo Arierhi in the game against Morocco, Precious Benjamin made an instant impact. His aggressive runs troubled the Moroccan defense, which shows he’s more than capable of leading the line against Kenya.

5. Divine Oliseh

Oliseh has quietly become one of Nigeria’s most exciting threats in the final third. The lively forward has consistently posed problems for opposing defenders with his pace and dribbling skills. He will be one to watch again as the Flying Eagles look to end their group campaign on a high.
