Former Germany U-21 full-back, Felix Agu, has revealed why he opted to play for the Super Eagles instead of Julian Nagelsmann-led side, Soccernet.ng reports., Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old contributed to Werder Bremen’s 8th-place finish in the recently concluded Bundesliga season, scoring three goals in 21 appearances for Ole Werner's side.
Agu was invited to Nigeria's Unity Cup squad by their head coach, Eric Chelle. He's now been cleared to play for the Super Eagles and could make his debut for the three-time AFCON winners tonight.

“As I said before, it's nice to represent the biggest African country. To connect more to my roots and to be able to play with such good players.
“It's an honour to just represent such a big, big country. I see the quality of players we have here in this in this team, and what we can can achieve, so it was my plan to be able to contribute and represent my country,” the former VfL Osnabrück defender told Soccernet.ng.
