Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins has expressed his delight at the quality of the game between Barcelona and Inter Milan in the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Barcelona and Inter Milan provided fans with a thriller of a game as they played out a 3-3 draw at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
It looked like the Nerazzurri would run out with the win after Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries scored in the opening 21 minutes. However, the Blaugrana stormed back with goals from Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres before the break.
Unfortunately for Barcelona, they could not capitalize on their momentum as Dumfries gave Inter Milan the lead again in the 64th minute. But Yan Sommer conceded an own goal just a minute later to ensure that it ended 3-3 after 90 minutes.
Super Eagles defender Collins was following the game, and he was obviously impressed at the level of football. He posted a picture of his screen while he was watching the game and wrote, “what a game.”
