Former Montpellier and Portsmouth forward, John Chukwudi Utaka, has urged the Super Eagles not to throw the towel in on their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Soccernet.ng reports.
Eric Chelle’s side have won just one of their six World Cup qualifying games, and with four fixtures left, their chances of playing in the biggest football tournament next year are minute.
To stand a chance, the three-time AFCON Champions need to win all of their remaining games while getting help from elsewhere, hoping the sides ahead of them in the group drop points.
