German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare ahead of a potential move in the summer, Soccernet.ng reports.

Arokodare has had a brilliant campaign with Genk this season, as he has contributed 19 goals and five assists in the league. In fact, he currently leads the Belgian Jupiler League goalscoring charts.

His performances have propelled the Smurfs to become one of the major contenders to win the Jupiler League this season.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old who is a big fan of Real Madrid has been attracting interest from some top clubs across Europe. Newcastle, Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund, and Trabzonspor have been linked with a move for Arokodare, but nothing concrete has happened yet.

Now, according to Bayern & Germany, Bundesliga kings Bayern Munich appear to be interested in signing Arokodare. The Bavarians need a quality striker to support Harry Kane.

Mathys Tel was supposed to play that role, but he does not seen willing to play a backup role, and that is why he moved to Tottenham on loan in January.

Arokodare is a good option for Bayern Munich, as he is valued at €25 million which they can easily afford. Also, he offers a bigger presence in the box due to his imposing 6-foot-6 height.

Should Tolu Arokodare consider moving to Bayern Munich?

Tolu Arokodare is 24 and appears to have a bright future. Moving to a big club like Bayern Munich would be a big step up for him. However, that would also mean that his game time would drop drastically, and that is not good for a player who is trying to make a mark.

On the other hand, he will surely score a lot of goals if he remains sharp because Bayern Munich will always create many chances.

He might even get lucky if Harry Kane gets injured. Case in point was Eric Maxim Choupo Moting, who registered 38 goals and 13 assists despite playing from the bench when Robert Lewandowski was there.

Arokodare will also get to rub shoulders with the biggest teams and the best players in the world. Kane will be 32 years old in July. If Arokodare impresses, he could even become the first-choice when Kane leaves.

How many caps does Tolu Arokodare have for Nigeria?

Tolu Arokodare got his first Super Eagles call-up in March for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers fixtures against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. He got his first cap in the first game against Rwanda before geting his second cap when Nigeria played Zimbabwe a few days later. However, he has failed to score or assist.
