Ademola Lookman to Atletico Madrid: Why Spanish giants are the least favourite to land Super Eagles star

Why Atlético Madrid may not be able to get Ademola Lookman

Ademola Lookman is Atalanta's most valuable asset, and they will not accept anything less than €60 million before they sell. According to Estadio Deportivo, this is a lot of money for Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid are coming off a summer when they spent over €170 million on transfers. So they have to watch their spending for the next year or two.

Moreover, La Liga have a strict financial policy, and if Los Rojiblancos overspend, they could face penalties. To get Lookman, Atletico Madrid would have to make a big sale, and that is quite unlikely.
