As a result, this could also affect Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo, who was previously on the brink of leaving the club for Turkey during the last summer transfer window.

Over time, Trabzonspor has been looking to lure him back to the club after his outstanding performance of 17 goals in 25 appearances during his season-long loan move from Southampton in the 2023-24 campaign.
Meanwhile, they could still be in the market for his signature in the upcoming summer window but will be ready to battle it out with several other European clubs for his services.
