Reigning UEFA Europa League Champions, Atalanta, are set to increase their asking fee for Super Eagles star, Ademola Lookman, amidst interest from record Serie A Champions, Juventus, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old has been one of La Dea’s finest products in recent years. The 2024 CAF Player of the Year has scored 50 goals and provided 22 assists for Atalanta in 109 games across all competitions since joining in the summer of 2022, including 18 goals and seven assists in 31 games this season.
Lookman has been linked with a move away from Atalanta after he fell out with the club coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, over a missed penalty, although it appears the pair have made up since then.

Lookman currently has about fifteen months left on his contract with Atalanta, although the club have the option of extending it for another year. However, it seems that the club is planning to sell him once the season concludes.
Juventus, who have been tracking the player for a considerable amount of time, are interested in adding him to their squad when the transfer window reopens.

Will Atalanta raise the asking fee for Lookman?
As per Tuttomercatoweb, Atalanta have raised their valuation of Lookman to €60m, up from an initial standpoint of €50m, reflecting the player’s growing reputation and his value to the club.
Juventus have been underwhelming under Thiago Motta this season, considering how much they spent on recruitment during the summer, and are looking to strengthen their not-so-good attack as they look to compete for the Scudetto next season.
Ademola Lookman has shown time and again that he can be the difference-maker in a match, with his pace and accurate shooting making him a dangerous player in the final third.

What is Lookman’s Market Value?
As per Transfermarkt, the former Leicester City man is worth €55m, but as the season goes on, his value is set to increase.
Additionally, Lookman’s value will increase in the summer, should a bidding war arise between clubs that want him to don their jersey ahead of his highly anticipated move.
Will Atalanta sell Lookman?
Atalanta want make the most of Lookman’s potential departure by capitalising on his impressive form and maximising his value before he leaves the exits.
Lookman, alongside Retegui and De Ketelaere in Atalanta’s attack, are helping to fuel the Scudetto dream for the Bergamo-based club, and should the dream come true, it’ll be a pleasant goodbye for both parties. However, the Super Eagles star prefers a return to England, with offers from Liverpool and Manchester United on the table.
Atalanta are third on the Serie A table, three points behind league leaders, Inter Milan, and two points behind Antonio Conte’s Napoli, who sit in 2nd place.
