Super Eagles and Genk striker, Toluwalase Emmanuel Arokodare, has revealed that his football has improved since he made his debut for the Nigerian national team, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 24-year-old centre-forward is enjoying the most prolific season of his budding career. His goals for KRC Genk in the Belgian Pro League this season saw him earn a call-up to the Nigerian senior team.
Arokodare made his debut against Rwanda, replacing Victor Osimhen in the 77th minute, and played a crucial role in Nigeria’s opener against Zimbabwe during the March International break.

Speaking after the game, the former FC Koln striker revealed the pride he felt when he donned the Nigerian jersey has given him a superior feeling that cannot be shaken off. He is completely at the top of his game.

What Arokodare said
“We are not concerned about that [the play-offs result between Union Saint-Gilloise and Club Brugge]. Our focus is on our match; we have nine more games to give everything, and hopefully, we will be champion.
“I’m walking around with a different feeling. That selection [Super Eagles call-up] gave me an extra boost. Training with players like Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi or Victor Boniface, those are still ‘high level’ players. I am very happy that I have already experienced this experience,” Arokodare said in quotes revealed by Voetbal Belgium.
