Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi could be on the move as reports suggest he is open to leaving Nottingham Forest amid increasing uncertainty about his role at the club, Soccernet.ng reports.

Meanwhile, New Zealand international Chris Wood has emerged as the preferred striker for manager Nuno Espirito Santo, having scored 14 goals in 22 league games and sitting fourth on the Premier League top scorer chart. The Congolese international’s potential arrival is expected to further limit Awoniyi’s playing time, which has prompted speculation about his future with the club.
West Ham United have reportedly shown interest in signing the 26-year-old, who remains contracted to Nottingham Forest until 2027. The Hammers are looking to offload Brazilian forward Luis Guilherme and see Awoniyi as a potential replacement.
