Nigerian business mogul Tony Elumelu hosted an exclusive all-white party, bringing together dignitaries and celebrities from various spheres of Nigerian society just before Christmas, Soccernet.ng reports.
Among the notable attendees was Napoli forward and Super Eagles’ all-time second-highest goalscorer, Victor Osimhen, who was seen mingling with the Chairman of United Bank for Africa.
The event gained prominence in December 2023 when music stars like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake performed. Other artists, including Kizz Daniel, Spyro, and Ayra Starr, also graced the occasion.
Cameroon football legend Samuel Eto’o and his family were spotted at the party alongside the business tycoon. Despite his ongoing issues with FIFA and CAF, the former Barcelona forward put those behind him to celebrate in style.
Former Arsenal star Kanu Nwankwo was another notable attendee, seen in a stunning all-white outfit in videos circulating on social media.
In 2023, Victor Osimhen gifted Elumelu a personalised Napoli jersey following his Serie A triumph with the Neapolitans. The two were pictured together holding the number nine jersey.
International music acts Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido thrilled the audience with their performances. The ‘Kese’ crooner Spyro also kept the energy high with his exciting music.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Burna Boy’s mother, Bose Ogulu (Mama Burna), were also present, adding a touch of political and cultural significance to the event.
Given the calibre of attendees, the all-white party is emerging as one of Nigeria’s most influential events. It provides a platform for celebrities, business leaders, and public figures to network and collaborate.
The 2024 edition of the all-white party further cements its reputation as a must-attend event for Nigeria’s elite.
