Fulham head coach, Marco Silva, has praised Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Chuka Iwobi, for his selfless act of providing food for the less privileged during Christmas, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old is enjoying his best season in the English Premier League this term, and has done one better to gain the love of his community in London.
The former Arsenal midfielder opened a temporary shop under the name “AlexPress” to help spread festive cheer in East London by giving out free food, including groceries and turkeys, to local residents struggling to pay for their Christmas dinner.

Iwobi revealed giving back was an act he learned from his family while he was growing up as they made it a tradition to always do charity during festive seasons, and he felt obligated to replicate the act now that he's in a privileged position.
Ahead of Fulham's clash against Chelsea this evening, Marco Silva singled out the former Everton man for his empathy towards the people in his community.
“Amazing. Helping people who don't have the same conditions as you – it's a great thing. It doesn't surprise me because Alex is a top guy and someone who cares about others. He should be proud of what he's doing,” the Portuguese coach said as revealed by Jack Kelly.
