Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has emerged as one of the best 23-year-olds in Europe’s top five leagues, Soccernet.ng reports.
Boniface has started the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign in excellent form, picking off from where he left off last season.
The Nigerian international has scored four goals and provided one assist in six league appearances for the reigning Getman champions.

Boniface’s impressive output has fetched him a 7.34 rating on WhoScored, making him the highest-rated 23-year-old star in the Bundesliga and among the top five in Europe’s biggest leagues.
The top-rated youngster is Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, who has a rating of 8.25 after registering two goals and seven assists in seven Premier League games this term.
The England international is followed by Napoli playmaker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (7.58), PSG’s South Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in (7.39), and Marseille’s Mason Greenwood (7.36).
Apart from his fine haul in the Bundesliga, Boniface also scored his first goal in the UEFA Champions League to guide Bayer Leverkusen to a slim 1-0 win over AC Milan.
Last season, Boniface fired 14 league goals and added nine assists in 23 games to help Leverkusen lift the Bundesliga title for the first time in the club’s history. He also played an instrumental role as Xabi Alonso’s men won the DFB Pokal.
The Super Eagles striker contributed five goals and an assist in eight appearances as Leverkusen reached the final of the Europa League where they fell to the superior firepower of an Ademola Lookman-inspired Atalanta.
