The Super Eagles of Nigeria have landed in Kigali ahead of their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Rwanda on Tuesday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Nigeria were in action at the Godswill Akpabio Staidum, Uyo on Saturday, defeating Benin 3-0 in their first game of the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers.
However, their battles are not over, as they have a fixture against Rwanda on Tuesday. It is a crucial fixture for the both sides as the result would determine the direction of the group.
Recall that Rwanda drew their first game against Lybia last Thursday. So, a win for them could take them to the summit of the group. On the other hand, a win for the Super Eagles would mean that they only need to win their next two games to seal qualification for the next AFCON.
After Nigeria’s win on Saturday, the players got a few hours of rest. Then on Sunday afternoon, at about 1PM, they left the country for Kigali.
They then touched down in Kigali at around 5PM Nigerian time according to reports from the Super Eagles media team.

The game against Rwanda will be played at the 30,000-capacity Stade Amahoro on Tuesday. Rwanda have won just one of their last five home games, so the Super Eagles have a good chance of getting a win.
Goodluck guys
Super Eagles will ideally prevail by means of possible preparations and tactics to confront Rwanda.
