Victor Osimhen’s potential move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has gained momentum following the injury setback of Gonçalo Ramos, who is now expected to be sidelined for three months, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian forward has been linked with several top clubs this summer including PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal, but a transfer deal has yet to be finalised.
The recent development at PSG, where Ramos suffered a fractured left ankle, has intensified speculation that the Ligue 1 champions could make a last-minute move for Osimhen.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on X, stating,
“Gonçalo Ramos has suffered a fractured left ankle and he will be out for at least three months, as Le Parisien reported. PSG will now consider bringing in a new striker in the final days.”

As PSG scramble to reinforce their attack, Chelsea have also showed interest in Osimhen after their pursuit of Samu Omorodion collapsed. The race for the African Player of the Year’s signature is heating up, with both clubs keen on securing his services.
In a related development, PSG are also targeting Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, who has been in sensational form for Atalanta.
The Parisians are reportedly seeking a left-wing forward to replace Kylian Mbappe, who recently joined Real Madrid.
Lookman, who scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final, has caught the attention of PSG, with the French giants already in contact with his representatives.
PSG’s transfer dealings in the final days of the window could see significant changes, with Osimhen and Lookman both emerging as key targets.
