Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman is edging closer to a major career move, with a potential transfer from Atalanta BC to Paris Saint-Germain reportedly in the works, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian winger has become a target for the French giants, who are keen on strengthening their attacking lineup, especially following Goncalo Ramos’s recent surgery.
Lookman’s impressive form for both Atalanta and the Nigerian national team during the 2023–24 season has not gone unnoticed, leading to increased interest from top European clubs.
According to Germany-based journalist Florian Plettenberg, Lookman has already agreed on personal terms with PSG, which marks a significant step in the transfer negotiations.

The Super Eagles forward is reportedly enthusiastic about joining the 12-time Ligue 1 champions and is eager to make the move as soon as possible.
However, the transfer is far from finalised, as PSG and Atalanta are still in discussions over the transfer fee. PSG have tabled an offer in the region of €30 million, but Atalanta, recognising Lookman’s value after his standout performances, are holding out for a fee closer to €50 million.
Amid these negotiations, English Premier League side Arsenal is keeping a close watch on the situation. The Gunners are reportedly considering a late move for the 26-year-old winger.
While agreeing on personal terms is a positive step, it does not guarantee that Lookman will be donning the PSG jersey soon.
The French side faces mounting pressure as the transfer window nears its end, particularly with the need to secure a suitable replacement for Ramos. The final days of the transfer window could prove crucial in determining Lookman’s next destination.
