The end has not been heard of Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Victor Osimhen as the French giants continue their search for attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season, Soccernet.ng reports.
With France international Kylian Mbappe already departed for Real Madrid, PSG are in need of a new focal point in attack.
The interest of the Ligue 1 champions in Osimhen is an open secret but it is also known that the Parisians are fervent admirers of another Napoli star – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Georgian playmaker shone brightly together with Osimhen as Napoli secured a historic Scudetto title last year. Kvaratskhelia was named the Serie A Player of the Year and Osimhen won the Striker of the Year during that memorable campaign.
According to Corriere dello Sport as per Tutto Napoli, PSG are ready to sign Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia this summer.
The French champions are offering Napoli €200 million to get the two deals done for the two exciting attackers.
However, that deal may be a little complicated to get past the line. While Napoli are willing to let Osimhen leave the Diego Maradona Stadium, Kvaratskhelia remains part of their plans in Naples.
On the day of his unveiling as the new coach of Napoli, Antonio Conte even referred to Kvaratskhelia as an ‘unsellable’ asset of the team.
Two hundred million euros may also not be enough to get PSG the two players, though, as Osimhen has a €130 million release clause in his contract.
With no club yet to get a deal done for him, Osimhen returned to Napoli this week to join in the club’s preseason plans.
The Super Eagles striker scored 17 goals and added four assists in all competitions for Napoli last season.
