Ogbu has made over 145 competitive appearances for various clubs, including Lillestrøm SK, Sogndal IL, Levanger FK, Rosenborg BK, and Gombe United FC. His football career began with Gombe United in Nigeria.

Recognizing his talent, Norwegian club Rosenborg signed Ogbu to a four-year contract in February 2018. During his time with Rosenborg, he had loan spells at Levanger and Sogndal, where he honed his skills and gained significant match experience.

In June 2020, Ogbu transitioned to Sogndal on a permanent basis, further establishing himself in Norwegian football.

Slavia Prague's decision to honor Ogbu with a stadium poster highlights his impact and popularity within the club, celebrating his contributions both on and off the field.
