Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha has piqued the interest of Crystal Palace, FC Turin, TSG Hoffenheim, and Leeds United, Soccernet.ng reports.
After a permanent move from Hertha BSC to KAA Genk in 2022, Torunarigha’s three-year deal is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Torunarigha, as quoted by Transfermarkt, revealed he is in discussions for a potential move away from the Belgian Pro League, though he is not in a hurry to leave.
“There are very interesting and concrete conversations that I am currently having. My contract runs until 2025, and I am not in a hurry to leave. We will see what happens. I strive for the highest possible sporting goals. That certainly plays a role in my decision,” he said, as quoted by Daily Post.
Sky earlier indicated that Leeds United from the Championship and Hoffenheim from the Bundesliga are both interested in the former Hertha player, known for his strong tackling abilities.
Additionally, BILD reported that FC Turin from Serie A and Crystal Palace from the Premier League are also keen on the left-footed central defender.
There have been no comments from his camp regarding these reports, but it is suggested that a move to join Crystal Palace in the English Premier League is something the defender would not want to miss.
